The first Hesedea drop is here.
Christian apparel · est. 2026

Steadfast love,
stitched into every thread.

Hesedea makes considered, everyday clothing built around one word: hesed, the covenant love that never runs out. Quiet in design. Unwavering in meaning.

“Hesed” חֶסֶד · Hebrew

There isn’t a single English word for it. Hesed is the loyal love God shows His people. Not a feeling that comes and goes, but a promise that holds. Loving-kindness. Covenant faithfulness. Mercy that shows up before it’s earned.

Hesedea is our attempt to carry that word into something you can wear. Not slogans. Not trend cycles. Clothing to arm the Kingdom with loving-kindness, but quiet-enough to let the meaning do the talking.

Rooted in faith

Every piece starts with a word or a verse worth carrying, designed to be worn, not just read.

Built to last

Heavyweight fabrics, considered fits, and a small, careful first run: every piece done right instead of rushed.

For the community

Hesedea grows with the people who wear it. This is the beginning of the story, not the whole of it.

Our story

HESEDEA, intertwined with a bold cross and a circle.

One act of hesed spreads to another… and another… until it comes full circle.

At the heart of HESEDEA is the beautiful Hebrew word, Hesed, which is incorporated into a beautiful logo on our clothing items. The signature logo is designed to change your wardrobe and change the conversation. HESEDEA, intertwined with a bold cross and a circle, symbolizes how one act of Hesed spreads to another…and another…until it comes full circle.

Hesed is a word that God uses to describe himself: steadfast love, kindness, mercy and covenant faithfulness that never fails.

Exodus 34:6–7 · Psalm 136 · Lamentations 3:22–23 · Micah 7:18 · Psalm 23:6

HESEDEA was born from a simple yet powerful truth: we are called to spread the word of what He Said through our clothing and apparel lines.

In a world full of noise, division and fleeting trends, we believe clothing can spark something deeper. Every item we create carries an invitation: to Change your Wardrobe and Change the Conversation.

HESEDEA is more than apparel. This is a movement of faith in fabric. We craft premium, comfortable clothing: hoodies, golf and polo shirts, tee shirts, hats, totes, beach towels and stickers, designed for everyday life and meaningful moments. Whether you are on the golf course, in the coffee shop, in the office, on the beach, or serving in your church or community, HESEDEA pieces remind you (and those around you) of what He Said.

Every purchase gives back

Building His kingdom, one purchase at a time.

Net proceeds from HESEDEA go to trusted ministry partners, beginning with Mully Children’s Family (MCF) in Kenya, rescuing orphaned and vulnerable children with hope, education, and the transforming love of Christ.

Your purchase from HESEDEA is more than a purchase of clothing. You are helping to buy a calculator, hygiene kit, exam fee, internship or a laptop for a student at MCF. You are helping to build the kingdom.

See How We Give Back

Share what He Said in what you wear.

Live out His Hesed.

Change your Wardrobe. Change the Conversation.

HESEDEA is more than clothing. This is threads of what He Said and hesed, worn on the outside, rooted in the heart, spreading God’s faithfulness one conversation at a time.

Join the circle.

Spread Hesed.

Change the World.

Every purchase gives back

Partnering with Mully Children’s Family.

Net proceeds from every Hesedea purchase support trusted ministry partners, beginning with MCF in Kenya.

Mully Children’s Family (MCF) rescues orphaned and vulnerable children across Kenya, surrounding them with hope, education, and the transforming love of Christ. It’s the first ministry partner we chose to stand behind, a natural extension of what hesed means to us: steadfast love, shown before it’s earned.

Hesedea exists to change the conversation, and giving back is part of that conversation from day one. Net proceeds from every piece we sell are set aside for MCF, no matter how small the first drop is.

Your purchase isn’t just clothing. Depending on the season, it might help fund a calculator, a hygiene kit, an exam fee, an internship, or a laptop for a student at MCF. Small, specific things that add up to an education and a future.

As Hesedea grows, so will the circle of who we’re able to give back to. MCF is where that circle starts.

Portrait of Mark D. Johnson, Founder & CEO of Hesedea

Brunswick, Georgia

Mark D. Johnson

Founder

Mark founded Hesedea out of a simple conviction: that what we wear can carry what we believe. HESEDEA, intertwined with a bold cross and a circle, symbolizes how one act of Hesed spreads to another…and another…until it comes full circle, and that circle starts with the people who put it on.

By day, Mark is an attorney in Brunswick, Georgia, where his career has been spent showing up for people in complicated moments: in the courtroom, in local government, and in the community. That same instinct, to serve quietly and faithfully, is what led him to start Hesedea: clothing built with the same intention as the word it’s named after.

Mark is a member of Wesley Church at Frederica, where he has served on the Administrative Board and the Staff-Parish Relations Committee. He currently chairs the Board of Trustees of Magnolia Manor, a ministry caring for older adults across Georgia, and has given his time to the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce, the Glynn County United Way, and the University of Georgia National Alumni Association.

Outside of work and ministry, Mark is married to Ginny, and together they have two sons and two daughters. He is an IFR-rated private pilot, and when he’s not flying, you’ll find him on the golf course or on the slopes.
